Perfix is operated by Perfix (“Perfix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Perfix is a software platform for performance marketing teams and agencies that helps users connect advertising and search data, upload SEO data, analyse PPC and SEO overlap, generate recommendations, and monitor optimisation tests.

2. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Perfix collects, accesses, uses, stores, discloses, and protects personal data and other information when you:

create or use a Perfix account
connect third-party services such as Google Ads or Google Search Console
upload files or data into Perfix
use Perfix features, dashboards, reporting, recommendations, or tracked tests
contact us for support or product enquiries

This Privacy Policy also explains how Perfix handles Google user data and data obtained through Google API Services.

3. The information we collect

Notes, comments, decisions, and test actions recorded in the product

D. Google user data and connected-service data

If you connect Google services to Perfix, we may access data such as:

your basic Google account information, such as email address and profile information, where needed for sign-in or account linking
Google Ads account information and performance data, including customer, campaign, ad group, keyword, search term, cost, click, impression, conversion, and related performance data
Google Search Console property information and search analytics data, including query, click, impression, CTR, and position data
OAuth tokens, scopes granted, and connection metadata needed to maintain the connection securely

4. How we use your information

We use information for the following purposes:

to provide, operate, maintain, and secure Perfix
to create and manage user accounts, workspaces, and permissions
to authenticate users and manage sign-in
to connect to third-party services that you authorise, such as Google Ads and Google Search Console
to process uploaded files and connected data
to power product features such as overlap analysis, search query analysis, recommendation generation, dashboards, audit logs, and tracked impact tests
to calculate baselines, monitor tests, and present reporting and decision support
to provide customer support and respond to enquiries
to detect, prevent, investigate, and address security, fraud, misuse, or technical issues
to improve, monitor, and troubleshoot the service
to comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations
to maintain internal records and business operations

Where appropriate, we may also use data in aggregated or de-identified form to improve the service, provided it no longer identifies an individual.

5. How Perfix uses Google user data

If you connect Google services to Perfix, Perfix accesses and uses Google user data solely to provide and improve the user-facing features that are prominent in the Perfix product experience, such as:

connecting and refreshing Google Ads and Google Search Console accounts
importing and synchronising authorised data from those services
displaying dashboards, insights, reports, recommendations, and tracked test results
enabling users to review, validate, and apply actions they explicitly initiate within Perfix
securing and maintaining the authorised connection

Perfix does not sell Google user data.

Perfix does not use Google user data for:

serving advertisements
retargeting or personalised advertising
data brokerage
creditworthiness or lending decisions
surveillance or unrelated secondary purposes

Perfix only uses Google user data in ways that are consistent with this Privacy Policy, any related in-product disclosures, and the permissions granted by the user.

If we materially change how Perfix uses Google user data, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide additional notice and obtain updated consent before using Google user data in a new or materially different way.

6. Legal bases for processing

Depending on your location and the context, we may process information on one or more of the following bases:

performance of a contract, including providing the Perfix service you requested
legitimate interests, such as operating, securing, supporting, and improving Perfix
consent, including where you choose to connect Google services or request certain communications
compliance with legal obligations

7. How we share information

We do not sell personal data.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

A. Within your workspace or organisation

Information may be visible to authorised users within the same Perfix workspace, based on roles and permissions.

B. Service providers and subprocessors

We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate Perfix, such as providers for hosting and infrastructure, database and storage, authentication, monitoring and error logging, analytics, customer support, email delivery, and AI-assisted processing used to deliver user-facing product features. These providers are only permitted to process data on our behalf for authorised business purposes and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

C. Connected platforms at your direction

When you connect third-party services such as Google Ads or Google Search Console, Perfix exchanges authorised data with those services at your direction.

D. Legal and compliance

We may disclose information where required to do so by law, regulation, court order, or valid legal process, or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

E. Business transfers

If Perfix is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, asset sale, or similar transaction, information may be disclosed as part of that process subject to appropriate protections.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data and connected-service data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

provide the service
maintain account history, reporting, and audit logs
comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
resolve disputes
enforce agreements
support security, fraud prevention, and backup or disaster recovery needs

When data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise, or securely isolate it in accordance with our retention practices, subject to backup, legal, and technical constraints.
